Restoring Protections for Women’s Spaces on College Campuses

Across the country, a renewed effort is underway to restore clear protections for women’s spaces in colleges and universities. Federal agencies are taking steps to reinforce the original purpose of Title IX, which was designed to ensure that women have equal opportunities and safe, private spaces in education. For many families, this is a long-overdue correction.

Title IX Was Meant to Protect Women

Title IX was established to protect women and ensure fairness in education. That includes access to private spaces such as dormitories, locker rooms, and restrooms, as well as equal opportunities in athletics. Over time, those protections have been reinterpreted in ways that have blurred the distinction between male and female spaces. Now, there is a growing effort to restore clarity and return to the law’s original intent.

Women Deserve Privacy and Safety

Female students should not be forced to share private spaces with biological males. Parents understand this instinctively. Daughters deserve the same level of privacy, dignity, and safety that previous generations expected without question. These are not abstract policy debates. They affect daily life on campus, from housing to athletics to personal security.

Families Are Calling for Clear Boundaries

Across the country, families are pushing back against policies that erase distinctions between men and women. They are asking for clear, consistent rules that protect female students and respect biological reality. They are also calling for institutions to listen to women who have raised concerns about fairness and privacy.

Missouri Must Lead with Confidence

Missouri families expect policies that reflect truth and protect students. Amendment 3 reinforces that commitment by establishing clear protections for minors and strengthening a broader culture that values life, family, and biological reality. When laws are clear, institutions follow. When boundaries are established, students are protected.

Protecting the Next Generation

This moment matters. College campuses shape the next generation of leaders. The standards we set now will determine whether those students grow up in a culture of clarity or confusion. Her Health Her Future is committed to protecting women, supporting families, and ensuring that Missouri leads with conviction. Now is the time to stand for truth, restore common sense protections, and secure a future where women’s spaces are respected and protected.
